Vernon Hills police blotter for Jan. 8, 2013

The following incidents were listed in the official reports of the Vernon Hills Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest by police does not constitute a finding of guilt; only a court of law can make that determination.
POSSESSION
• A 15-year-old female was charged Thursday, Dec. 27, with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia while police were investigating a potential domestic dispute. She faces a Feb. 14 court date.
RETAIL THEFT
• Two 17-year-old males were charged Monday, Dec. 31, with retail theft after allegedly leaving Walmart, 555 E. Townline Road, without paying for $14.97 worth of liquor. They face a Feb. 14 court date.
• Irlanda Bermont, 41, of 2020 Linden Ave., Apt. 2B, Waukegan, was charged Saturday, Dec. 29, with retail theft after allegedly leaving Sears, 2 Hawthorn Center, without paying for $57.57 worth of clothing and food. She faces a Feb. 14 court date.
• Cameron J. Fleming, 21, of 1312 Kettering Road, Mundelein, was charged Friday, Dec. 28, with retail theft after allegedly leaving Sears, 2 Hawthorn Center, without paying for $24.99 worth of electronics. He faces a Feb. 14 court date.
• Patricia Castano, 49, of 6705 E. Wellsley Court, Gurnee, was charged Sunday, Dec. 23, with retail theft after allegedly leaving Macy’s, 1 Hawthorn Center, without paying for $117.43 worth of clothes and food.
• Nicole S. Heidbrick, 25, of 25744 Gilmer Road, Mundelein, was charged Saturday, Dec. 22, with retail theft after allegedly leaving Walmart, 555 E. Townline Road, without paying for $119.92 worth of video games. She faces a Jan. 16 court date.
• Edgar Marin-Perez, 22, of 5257 Hollyhock Court, Gurnee, was charged Saturday, Dec. 22, with retail theft after allegedly leaving JC Penney, 4 Hawthorn Center, without paying for $76 worth of cologne. He faces a Jan. 10 court date.
DUI
• Luis A. Olivares-Lopez, 31, of 622 W. Park Ave., Apt. C, Libertyville, was charged Tuesday, Jan. 1, with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to signal. He faces a Jan. 23 court date.
• Alejandro Morales, 34, of 436 N. Pershing Ave., Mundelein, was charged Sunday, Dec. 30, with driving under the influence of alcohol, aggravated fleeing and eluding police, driving without a driver’s license, driving without insurance and illegal transportation of alcohol. He faces a Jan. 23 court date.
• Charles N. Rosset, 25, of 229 Tally Ho Drive, Vernon Hills, was charged Friday, Dec. 28, with driving under the influence of alcohol. He faces a Jan. 23 court date.~.
