Koenig & Strey names listing, sales leaders
John Santo, vice president and branch manager of the Koenig & Strey Real Living office in Libertyville, announced the sales leader for December is the Sam Valadez Group. The listing leaders for December are Carolyn Diesi and Millie Kepler.
Koenig & Strey Real Living’s Libertyville office is located at 100 N Milwaukee Ave.
Durham School Services receives Hero Award
Durham School Services was presented with a Maggiano’s Hero Award from Special Olympics Illinois at the organization’s annual appreciation dinner at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Schaumburg.
Durham School Services provides bus service to Mundelein districts 75 and 120 and Carmel Catholic High School.

Project underway at Zengeler
Cleaners
The Glass Slipper Project (GSP) is an all-volunteer organization that provides an opportunity for area high school women to experience the joy of prom at their schools. Zengeler Cleaners, with two stores in Libertyville, will serve as a drop-off point for donations, marking the 10th consecutive year of the partnership between Zengeler and GSP.
The Zengeler Cleaners’ stores are located at 539 E. Park Ave. and 1401 Peterson Rd. in Libertyville.
Kirk Players
receive special Christmas gift
It appears Santa Claus did not leave Mundelein on Christmas Eve, but stayed around to surprise a local community service group.
Sheila Bourque, president of Mundelein-based The Kirk Players, was getting ready to leave her work at a local health care service company in Mundelein a few days after Christmas when her boss, the president of the small firm, requested a chat with her.
In the short visit, he presented Bourque with a donation to the Kirk Players of $4,000.
The group, midway through their 46th season, is presently in production with Mundelein High School Theatre Department , and will present the drama, David and Lisa on Feb. 2, 3 and 4.

Dunn-Miller team best in sales
Lisa Cokefair, Branch Manager of Prudential Rubloff’s Libertyville office, announced the Dunn/Miller Team of Debbie Dunn and Diane Miller as the team sales leader for December.
Sheila Brooks and Juli Noll also had outstanding sales in December.
Daugs honored as wealth manager
Chicago Magazine announced that Mundelein resident Faron Daugs has once again been voted a Best of Five Star Wealth Manager, one of an elite group of financial advisors in the Chicagoland area. As principal of Libertyville-based Harrison Wallace Financial Group, Ltd., Daugs was among the fewer than 2 percent of licensed wealth managers who scored highest in overall satisfaction as rated by their clients, peers and industry experts.
In addition to serving on the Executive Board of Frassati Catholic Academy and supporting Libertyville’s Lake County Haven, Daugs is the director and treasurer of the Brennan Ammentorp Angel Foundation, a literacy and school zone safety initiative that was established in memory of 9-year-old Brennan Ammentorp who died tragically in December 2005 after he was struck by a car leaving his school parking lot.
