Fathers and their little Valentines, ages 5-10, will have a special night out at a Dad & Daughter Dance, 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10 or Saturday, Feb. 11 at Regent Center, 1200 Regent Dr., Mundelein. “A lot of times dads bring more than one daughter,” said Myra Tatarowicz, program supervisor for the Mundelein Park and Recreation District. “It’s really cute when you see a dad dancing with two or three little girls at the same time — he’s holding one and there’s one on each leg.”

Many partygoers dress up but that’s optional. “They’ll dance to popular tunes played by a DJ,” Tatarowicz said. Participants will also enjoy snacks, including soft serve ice cream from Culver’s.

A professional photographer will help couples commemorate the evening. Each girl will leave with a flower.

The cost is $29 per couple for residents, $37 for nonresidents; $7 and $10 per additional child.
